Emily was born April 28, 2000, in Youngstown, the daughter of Jeremy Wayne Brown and Sonya Lee Miller.
A lifelong area resident, Emily was an eighth-grade student at Niles Middle School.
She attended Bible school every summer at First Presbyterian Church in Niles. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling and was a member of the school band.
Her family would like to say that she was a special and thoughtful person, and gave hope and life to five people as a LifeBanc organ donor. She is a hero and will be loved and missed.
Emily is survived by her parents; a brother, Jeremy D. Brown at home; grandparents, Michael Cornelius of Hanoverton, Suzanne Cornelius of McDonald, Cary Miller of Niles and Mary Scott of McDonald; a great-grandmother, Mildred Scott of Youngstown; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
