In memory

In memory . . . . . . of a life so beautifully lived . . . . a Heart so deeply loved.

David Schreiber, Organ Donor, 1961 - 2005

David honored his family, friends, and co-workers by being a donor. We now honor him by memorializing him each year in the Donate Life Run/Walk. It gives those of us grieving his loss a chance to celebrate the zest, compassion, care, trust, and humor that was David. He was the best husband, father, brother and uncle that anyone could ask for. He worked hard and played hard and loved children of all ages. We all miss you terribly but smile every single time we think of you.

  1. Dave,
It has been a long time, my friend. There are so many memories, so many smiles. It is hard to believe that you are gone. When you are a kid, you feel like death is only for the "elderly", that everyone will have a long life, and reach all of those stars we all set out to reach. It is hard to believe that this is 50 for all of us. It came so fast. But, 5 years ago, we all lost someone very special to us. Someone that had a way to make us smile, make us feel good. You are very much missed, my old friend! I am grateful, tho, to still be able to share a little piece of your life, watching your children grow, thanks to your beautiful wife, Sharon. She is really something, David! She fits all your dreams as a kid, and I am glad you had someone special to share your time with. You will never be forgotten, my friend!
Forever~n~Always your friend, Cheryl Loudenback Baker

  2. I have so many memories of this great man! But the one that always comes to mind is when we were at that Pub in Seal Beach, watching the Classic Cats. Not only would he make me his Tambourine Girl, but he came to get me in the womens bathroom (WITH THE MIC) and pulled me on stage!!!! Haha Great times, wonderful man, missed so much. XOXO

  4. So many wonderful Memories of you David! Most of them include the Irish Mist and a tambourine with my BFF. But also, when the Classic Cats played at my Dad's 50th birthday and my Grandmother in her last years of life developed a huge crush on you! Thank goodness Sharon was there or she may have tried to take you home! haha. You are always thought of with a smile and missed so much!
